Tadao Yamaguchi, Head of the Jikiden Reiki Institute in Kyoto

Tadao Yamaguchi, regarded by many
as the leading authority on Reiki
today, will be coming over from Japan
to Scotland in July. Mr Yamaguchi has not
seen many doctors in his life. There were no
creams or pills or bandages in the
Yamaguchi household at all. His mother
Chiyoko had regularly experienced the efficacy
of Reiki as a treatment method not only for
common ailments, but also for injuries and
more serious health conditions from an early
age, and learned how to practise Reiki from
Dr. Hayashi, a medical doctor and Captain in
the Japanese Navy, when she was only 17.
